Lukewarm response for Janhvi Kapoor's 'Roohi'

Janhvi Kapoor joined hands with Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma and recently came up with a horror-comedy, 'Roohi'. Despite having two different stories, both 'Roohi' and Shraddha Kapoor's blockbuster film 'Stree' dwell in the same world of witches. Also, the same production house Maddock Films bankrolled both these films. Despite having a lot of similarities, 'Roohi' ended up as a disaster at the box office. Directed by Hardik Mehta, the promising trailer of the film has increased expectations but the movie unfortunately opened with a lukewarm response from the audience.

Today an entertainment page posted a picture of Janhvi Kapoor and asked for the review of 'Roohi' with an emoji and most of the netizens reacted negatively by posting sleepy emojis, angry emojis and headache emojis. Despite having some fun moments, the movie didn't succeed in giving thrills or laughs to the audience. Especially, the netizens are trolling the film for its abrupt ending and logic less climax part. Janhvi Kapoor who appeared in 'Ghost Stories' on Netflix tried the horror genre again with a comedy touch but failed to score big.
