Latest Updates On Ram Charan-Shankar's Next

Mega Power Star Ram Charan is yet to wrap up the shooting of his upcoming movie 'RRR' which is going to be a high-budget Pan-Indian movie under the direction of maverick director SS Rajamouli. The expectations are sky-high on this magnum opus. After wrapping up this project, Ram Charan is going to join hands with director Shankar for yet another pan-Indian movie. Touted to be a political thriller, Ram Charan is playing the role of Chief Minister in this movie. Just when the shooting of the film is expected to roll later this year, Lyca Productions approached Madras High Court to settle the issue of 'Indian 2'. Director Shankar has clarified that he will complete the shooting of 'Indian 2' as soon as Kamal Hasan and the technical crew of the film arrive. The court asked Lyca Productions and Shankar to settle the issue but even the talks got failed. 

On the other hand, Shankar is focusing more on Ram Charan's movie. He has roped in top Tamil lyricist Vivek to pen the dialogue version of the film and is also in plans to complete the dialogue version by the end of June. He is planning to kick start the shooting immediately after Ram Charan completes the shooting for his portion in 'RRR'. If everything goes well, the shooting will hit the floors in July or August this year. Rashmika Mandanna and Kiara Advani are playing the female leads in this movie. Dil Raju is bankrolling this yet-to-be-titled project. It seems like Shankar wants to complete the shooting in record time and release it next year.
