Khaidi star Karthi is ready with another action film 'Sulthan'. The makers of the film Sulthan released the much-awaited first look poster of the film. Finally, the wait has come to an end. The film is starring Karthi and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles and is helmed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan and is bankrolled by Dream Warrior Pictures.

The movie is believed to be released in Tamil and Telugu languages at the same time. With the theatres in Tamil Nadu likely to be reopened the makers of the film are looking forward to launching the film in theatres as soon as possible. Sulthan marks the debut of the Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna, who plays the love interest of Karthi and is touted to be released for Pongal 2021. Actor Karthi is seen working on the sets of a Tamil film Ponniyin Selvan along with the most talented and creative director Mani Ratnam. The film is based on a Tamil novel of the same name by Amrar Kalki. Actor Karthi has tweeted - Dear brothers and Sisters, Your love and appreciation are what has kept us going!
