Karthi has officially confirmed that "Khaidi 2" is set to commence production after Lokesh completes his next project, which features the legendary Superstar Rajinikanth. Initially scheduled to start shooting in January, "Khaidi 2" experienced a delay due to Lokesh's commitment to the Rajini film.
