Karthi revealed that PS-1 and PS-2 were shot simultaneously, with the former serving as entertainment and the latter being a classic. The actor also delighted his Telugu fans by singing a song from Geethanjali, a film directed by Mani Ratnam and starring Nagarjuna. Karthi spoke about the consistent love of Telugu audiences for cinema.
As Karthi's fans chanted his name from Khaidi, the actor promised that Khaidi 2 would come soon. PS-2 boasts an impressive cast including Vikram, Aishwarya Rai, Trisha, and Jayam Ravi, with Mani Ratnam directing and Lyca Productions in association with Madras Talkies producing the film.
