Karan Johar puts Dhadak 2 sequel rumors to rest

Sairat, a Marathi film, has achieved cult status in Indian cinema, grossing over 100 crores at the box office on a budget of approximately 5 crores. It was remade in five different languages, including Hindi, with Janhvi Kapoor making her debut in the film industry alongside Ishaan Khatter, and the movie was produced by Karan Johar. Dhadak was a commercial success at the box office.

Rumors have been circulating that a sequel to Dhadak is in the works, with Siddhanth Chaturvedi and Tripti Dimri slated to star in the movie. However, Karan Johar has since taken to his Instagram story to refute these claims, stating that Dharma Productions is not producing a film called Dhadak 2, effectively putting an end to all rumors.
