Karan Johar Concludes Shooting For "Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani"

Karan Johar wraps up shooting for the upcoming film "Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani". The director expressed his gratitude towards the cast and crew for supporting him throughout the tumultuous making of the film, which is his first directorial venture since 2016's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Starring Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi, the family drama is based on a real-life family anecdote that Johar's father once shared with him. 

The filmmaker shared that it had been 7 years since he last directed a film and had to stop a previous project midway due to unavoidable reasons. He expressed gratitude towards his team, referring to them as his soldiers, for helping him bring his vision to life in his 7th feature film.
