Kamal Haasan's Next: Vidya Balan to Star in Mani Ratnam's Directorial Venture?

Kamal Haasan, who recently delivered a blockbuster hit with "Vikram", is gearing up for his next venture "Indian 2" directed by Shankar. Once he completes this project, he will move on to his 234th film, which will be helmed by the legendary Mani Ratnam.

Initially, rumors were rife that Trisha Krishnan or Nayanthara would be paired with Kamal Haasan. However, the latest buzz in the Tamil film industry suggests that the talented Bollywood actress Vidya Balan might essay the female lead in the movie.

Although there has been no official confirmation on this front yet, the film tentatively titled "KH234" is jointly produced by Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam, R Mahendran, and Siva Ananthi. It is being presented by Udhayanidhi Stalin under his Red Giant Films banner. The Academy Award-winning composer AR Rahman has been roped in to create the music for the film.
