Jr NTR's fans are celebrating his birthday in grand style today, with a special re-release of his blockbuster hit "Simhadri." The film is receiving the widest re-release of any Telugu film to date.

In the USA, the re-release has grossed a little over $12,000 so far, but this number is expected to rise as more shows are scheduled to be screened starting May 20th. Meanwhile, in Hyderabad, the gross collections for the Simhadri special shows have already exceeded Rs 27 lakh.

It's anticipated that the Simhadri re-release will set a new record for the highest collections of any Telugu film re-release to date.
