Jr NTR Hails Fahadh Faasil and Karthikeya at Don't Trouble The Trouble Event

Jr NTR was the chief guest at the pre-release event of Don't Trouble The Trouble, the film that launches SS Karthikeya as a producer and stars Fahadh Faasil in the lead. The event was reportedly held in Hyderabad. It became an emotional evening as NTR spoke about his long bond with the Rajamouli family. The film arrives in theatres on October 2.

NTR had special words for Fahadh Faasil. According to reports, he said his love for Fahadh's acting began when he watched Bangalore Days, and he called Fahadh the one actor he truly looks up to, even calling him a brother. He said sharing the stage with the Malayalam star gave him real joy. The team also praised Fahadh's performance in the film.

The most moving part of the speech was about Karthikeya. NTR said Karthikeya stood beside him during a phase when his films were not doing well, and that RRR happened because Karthikeya backed him. He added that Karthikeya was there behind every smile on his face, and was the one who wiped away his tears. He reportedly also said Karthikeya was part of the story behind Baahubali.

NTR reportedly recalled that he was 17 and starting Student No. 1 when Karthikeya was just nine, and said he never imagined that boy would one day stand on stage as a producer. He called Karthikeya his younger brother and asked fans to bless him the way they have blessed NTR. Rajamouli was on stage during the speech. He reportedly said the script impressed him, but that he made no creative contribution and the young team handled the film.

Shashank Yeleti directs the film. Reports say Rajamouli presents it and that it marks Fahadh's first Telugu film as a lead. Fahadh reportedly plays Suri, a magician who befriends a young girl, played by Ssara Palekar, who turns out to be a genie able to grant wishes. Saurabh Sachdeva is also said to play an important role.
