John Abraham Plays The Role Of A Ruthless Freelance Terrorist In Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathan

After the second wave of COVID-19 when the lockdown eased a little, many actors resumed work. Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone came back to Yash Raj Studios and started shooting for Siddharth Anand’s much awaited action entertainer Pathan. The two will be portraying the role of a secret agent in the film and for the very first time, Deepika will sport a boy cut. Details of their co-star John Abraham’s character is now out! As we all know by now, the handsome hunk will be seen as an antagonist in the movie.

According to the report, John will portray the role of a terrorist who has no nationality and works only for money. A source was quoted saying, “John plays the role of someone who works for money. He doesn't have a nationality; he is ruthless with his only religion being money. It's more like a freelance undercover terrorist. In Pathan, he works for the Russian mafia, who are running a covert gun racket in India.”

Ditching a traditional bulky avatar that many were expecting, John is going for an incline appearance. The report suggests that he shed some muscles over the last few months to attain the look. Well, the actor will be indulging in many chase series and hand to hand battles with SRK. We have to admit, these revelations about John’s character have raised our expectations from Pathan!
