Ghani is likely to be postponed to March

Varun Tej’s sports drama Ghani, which is supposed to clash with Nani’s Shyam Singha Roy on Dec 24, is said to be postponed. Ghani is likely to be postponed to March, according to a report.

The makers of Shyam Singha Roy and Ghani have come to concord in order to avoid the clash in theatres. With this, the line is clear for Nani as it’s going to be a solo release for the film.

Since there are back-to-back films in January and February, the makers of Ghani are considering the idea of shifting to March. A formal announcement is expected soon. Allu Bobby is stepping into film production with Ghani and he doesn’t want to take any chances with his debut. He is pulling out all stops and trying to position it well.

So, Nani’s Shyam Singha Roy would be the only Christmas release. After which, Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR will hit the theatres on Jan 7th ahead of Sankranthi.
