FILM UPDATE: Rajinikanth's Annaatthe Has Concluded Its Shoot In Hyderabad

It is no new news that Superstar Rajinikanth is collaborating with director Siva for their upcoming film 'Annaatthe'. This film was supposed to be released on Pongal this year but due to the pandemic, and 7 crew members and Rajinikanth from the Annaatthe sets testing positive for COVID-19, the film shoot had to witness several delays.

After some recovery of the crew members and Rajinikanth himself, the filmmakers resumed the shoot and are in full action. Recently, the Superstar winded up his shoot in Hyderabad for 35 days nonstop at Ramoji Film City. It was during last month when Rajini and the film crew landed in Hyderabad to shoot some essential scenes of the film. Actress Nayanthara also accompanied Rajinikanth as she will also be playing a prominent role in this film. Now that the film shoot is almost done, the Annaatthe crew has been working on the post-production works for the film, and it has also been revealed that this film is expected to be released around Diwali.

Annaatthe is being directed by filmmaker Siva and produced by Kalanithi Maran under the production banner of Sun Pictures. The cast of this film also includes Keerthy Suresh, Meena, and Khushboo. The music composer of this film is D. Imman. Further details to be revealed soon.
