Drishyam: The Conclusion advance booking opens September 27, release on October 2

The makers of Drishyam: The Conclusion have announced that advance booking opens on September 27. The Ajay Devgn crime thriller is set up as the last chapter of the popular Hindi franchise, and it reaches cinemas on October 2. The makers shared the news with the hashtag #DrishyamDay.

Abhishek Pathak directs the film. Ajay Devgn leads the cast and reportedly plays Vijay Salgaonkar again. Tabu reportedly returns as Meera Deshmukh, and Shriya Saran as Nandini Salgaonkar. Rajat Kapoor, Jaideep Ahlawat and Prakash Raj are also in the film. Reports say Kamlesh Sawant, Ishita Dutta and Mrunal Jadhav come back in their franchise roles as well.

The makers' message hinted that the final page of the story is about to be turned. The trailer has reportedly drawn a strong response from viewers. The film is seen as front-loaded, so interest in its advance sales is high, and the trade is said to be expecting a start of around Rs 50 crore nett.

Reports also say that this third film is not a remake, unlike the first two parts, and tells a fresh story with a new screenplay. The franchise reportedly began in 2015, and Drishyam 2 followed in 2022. That film followed Vijay and his family as they tried to protect a secret linked to a criminal investigation.

Star Studio18 presents the film and Panorama Studios produces it. The producers reportedly include Alok Jain, Ajit Andhare, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak. Pathak also reportedly shares the writing credit with Aamil Keeyan Khan and Parveez Shaikh.

Bookings open on September 27, and the release follows on October 2. Fans can now watch how strongly the finale of this long-running thriller opens at the box office.
