Director Ajay Bhupathi Wraps Up Shooting for 'Mangalavaaram'

Director Ajay Bhupathi, known for his cult blockbuster "RX100," has joined forces with actress Payal Rajput once again for his upcoming film titled "Mangalavaaram."

The first look of Payal Rajput's character, Shailaja, from the film, received immense attention and applause from both critics and audiences alike.

The production team left no stone unturned during the filming process, and they successfully wrapped up the 99-day shoot on June 12th. They are now moving forward with the post-production work.

Producers Swathi Gunupati and Suresh Varma M expressed their happiness over the response to Payal Rajput's first look, emphasizing their commitment to delivering uncompromised quality and content standards in "Mangalavaaram." The shoot comprised 48 days of day and 51 days of night shoot. Director Ajay Bhupathi has ventured into unexplored genre territory in Indian cinema with this film. They have also hinted at the upcoming release of the teaser and trailer, promising more updates soon.

Speaking about the film, director, and producer Ajay Bhupathi stated that "Mangalavaaram" is a rare village-based action-thriller. It aims to capture the essence of the local culture while presenting raw and rustic visuals and emotions. The story features 30 characters, each playing a crucial role in the larger narrative. Ajay Bhupathi concluded by mentioning that they are now focusing on the post-production works. The background score, composed by Ajaneesh Loknath of "Kantara" fame, is expected to be a significant highlight of the film.

Interestingly, Ajay Bhupathi is making his debut as a producer alongside Swathi Gunupati and Suresh Varma M. "Mangalavaaram" will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages, as it is a joint venture between Mudra Media Works and A Creative Works.
