Clarifying Controversy: 'Extra Ordinary Man' Team Addresses Controversial Dialogue

In response to a contentious dialogue in Nithiin's 'Extra Ordinary Man' trailer about Ponniyin Selvan, the director Vakkantham Vamsi and the team offer clarification.

In the trailer for Nithiin's "Extra Ordinary Man," a dialogue referencing Ponniyin Selvan stirred controversy among Tamil audiences, with Nithiin expressing his inability to comprehend his father's words, akin to the complexity of the Ponniyin Selvan movie.

Addressing the concerns in a promotional interview, director Vakkantham Vamsi clarified that the dialogue was intended positively. He explained, "Understanding Ponniyin Selvan requires careful attention, given its numerous characters that can lead to confusion."

The film's female lead, Sreeleela, added, "Certain films demand multiple viewings for complete comprehension." The team emphasized that they did not intend to disparage Ponniyin Selvan. Sudhakar Reddy and Nikitha Reddy served as producers for the film.

Unfortunately, Vishwak Sen's Gangs Of Godavari Has Been Postponed Once Again.

Instead, Vishwak Sen's other movie, Gaami, hit theaters that day and proved to be a major success. Now, Gangs Of Godavari is scheduled to premiere on May 31, not May 17 as previously announced. The reason for the new postponement is unknown, but fans will have to wait just a little bit longer to experience this rural village drama.
