Behind The Scenes: How Sukumar's Recommendation Transformed The Villain In Virupaksha

Sai Dharam Tej and Samyuktha's mysterious thriller Virupaksha, which debuted in theatres and later on OTT, has become a massive success.

In a recent interview, filmmaker Karthik Varma Dandu revealed an intriguing truth, saying that in the initial version of his story, Parvathy, played by Shyamala, was the major villain. However, the scriptwriter and creative director Sukumar recommended altering the villain to have a much stronger effect. The plot and script were significantly changed as a result.

In addition to Sai Dharam Tej and Samyuktha, other notable actors with major roles in the film include Ajay, Sai Chand, Shyamala, Brahmaji, Sunil, Rajiv Kanakala, Soniya Singh, and Ravi Krishna. BVSN Prasad created the soundtrack for the film under the SVCC label.
