Arjun Kapoor's Bhoot Police Is Skipping On A Theatrical Release

The latest news about the film Bhoot Police starring Arjun Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan is that it will go for an OTT release.

The latest news about the film Bhoot Police starring Arjun Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan is that it will go for an OTT release. Producer Ramesh Taurani has confirmed the same. Since theatres are now shut down across the country and film distribution in a conventional way is not possible at the moment, the Bhoot Police film crew had to take this difficult step. This decision is unlike the crew of other films who keep postponing their release date because they are too adamant to go for the theatrical release.

Elaborating further about this topic, producer Ramesh Taurani has expressed his part to the ETimes in an interview. He said, "I had no option. I don't see the theatres opening before November 2021, and that too at 50 percent capacity. The way things are going, it's still going to take a lot of time to go back to old times. Look, I was supposed to release 'Bhoot Police' in September 2021. I felt that it would be better in the present scenario if I stick to my original month. So yes, 'Bhoot Police' will be released on OTT mostly in September, or October."

Bhoot Police is a horror comedy film directed by Pavan Kirpalani. It is produced by a dual collaboration of Ramesh Taurani and Akshai Puri under the banners of Tips Industries and 12 Street Entertainment. Bhoot police is a multi-starrer film that features Arjun Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Yami Gautam, and Jacqueline Fernandez portraying the lead roles.
