An update on Vijay Deverakonda's Liger shoot schedule

It is no new news that Vijay Deverakonda is working on his upcoming pan-Indian flick, Liger. Liger is touted to be a sports drama starring Vijay Deverakonda, Ramya Krishna, and Ananya Pandey as the main leads. As of now, the film crew of Liger is going through a difficult time since the lockdown situation of Maharashtra is hindering their shoot schedule.

In an interview with host Suma Kanakala, Vijay Deverakonda spoke about the current status of Liger. He stated, "So far, 65% of the shoot has been completed. Liger is a big-scale movie and that's the biggest challenge in these times. We are hoping to complete the production works in July and August. I am going to shoot for it in Mumbai."

He further added, "The mother-son scenes, for example, are over. But there are complex scenes that require 1000 people to be present on sets. Such complicated scenes have been pending. Amid the fear of a third wave, we are trying to figure it out."

To brush up on the technical details of this film, Liger is an upcoming sports action film written and directed by Puri Jagannadh. It is a bilingual film that is being shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu.
