Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan turned football coach for his upcoming movie ‘Jhund’ and the film is gearing up for release on March 4th. A week before the release, the trailer of the film was dropped by team ‘Jhund.’
Watch the trailer here:
Amitabh Bachchan plays Vijay, probably a retired physical trainer or sports trainer. He gets posted in a school which is located in slums. The kids in the slum are drug dealers i.e, they sell marijuana (Ganja) to make a living. Big B is shocked upon seeing these kids in a terrible state. (Well, we obviously draw a comparison with that of Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Master’).
But considering his age, Big B doesn’t fight the goons or drug dons behind the kids. Instead, he tries to bring a change in the kids using the sport, Football. Big B sees a spark in these kids and tries to encourage them. He believes that the kids in these slums can make a world-class football team. The rest of the story is clear enough.
‘Jhund’ is directed by national award winning director Nagraj Popatrao Manjule of ‘Sairat’ fame and the trailer has no frills or thrills for just the commercial elements sake but is kept simple and realistic.
