Amitabh Bachchan And Deepika Padukone To Reunite For "The Intern"!

Bollywood's two most prestigious artists, Veteran legend Amitabh Bachchan and versatile star Deepika Padukone will be re-uniting one again after Piku, in another film which is an adaptation of one of the most iconic films in Hollywood which goes by the name "The Intern".

"The Intern" is an American buddy comedy-drama film directed, written, and produced by Nancy Meyers that was released back in 2015. This film stars Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway as the main leads. The plot revolves around a 70-year-old widower who becomes a senior intern at an online fashion website, where he forms a sudden and nonchalant friendship with the company's workaholic CEO.

As predictable as it is, Amitabh Bachchan will be playing the role of Robert De Niro and Deepika will be portraying Anne Hathaway's role. Initially, late veteran actor Rishi Kapoor was bagged in for Robert De Niro's role but due to his deeply grieved and unfortunate demise, Amitabh will be taking his plays as the main lead.

Bollywood adaptation of "The Intern" will be directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma and produced by Sunir Kheterpal and Deepika Padukone. Further updates shall be revealed soon for his much-anticipated film!
