Akshaye Khanna Settles For A Cameo In Priyadarshan’s Hungama 2

The news is making rounds that Akshaye Khanna will be seen in a cameo in Priyadarshan's Hungama 2, starring Paresh Rawal and Shilpa Shetty. Priyadarshan’s much-awaited comic escapade, Hungama 2, will hit the big screen around May. The moviemakers are currently working on the post-production of the film starring Paresh Rawal, Shilpa Shetty, and Meezaan in lead. The producer of the film, Ratan Jain had approved the development. The movie is a sequel to the 2003 cult comedy, Hungama. It is believed that Akshaye Khanna, who played the lead in Hungama has been roped in to do a special extended cameo.

Reportedly, Akshaye Khanna has already shot for his portion and it has been all kept under total wrap. Interestingly, besides Akshaye Khanna, Paresh Rawal was also part of the first film. However, the cast for the sequel is fresh. The film is now a franchise and not a sequel. The film has a new story and is in sync with the world of Hungama. Hence, the makers decided on naming it Hungama 2. Akshaye Khanna’s cameo in the film is not just for nostalgia purposes, but also presents a pivotal role in carrying the story forward, adding to the conflict. Whereas Paresh Rawal's role is unique from the ere as the previous episode.
