Akshay Kumar's 'Raksha Bandhan' To Commence Shoot From June 15th

Director Aanand L Rai is all set to start the film shoot of his upcoming project Raksha Bandhan that will go on floors from June 15.

The prolonged and rigid lockdown in Maharashtra has been at ease since 7th June and ever since the announcement, as a component of the five-level unlocking, film and TV shootings can recommence under mandated COVID-19 protocols. It was also made clear that all the shootings must be taken place in a bio-bubble under limited timings.

Among several other filmmakers, director Aanand L Rai is all buckled up to start the film shoot of his upcoming project Raksha Bandhan. The film set construction is done and ready to shoot. During the process, the director was summoned into an interview where he announced that the film is charted to go on floors from June 15.

Anand L Rai was quoted by the ETimes saying, "We are hoping to start by June 15. By then cases may come down and the situation should become more conducive for us to work with the unit. The crew will remain at one place but, the actors will go back home. Besides, we normally isolate ourselves from the family while shooting and that is the same way we shot for Atrangi Re and all of us are responsible enough to follow Covid's appropriate behavior." As of now, the cast of this film is said to be led by Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar.
