Ajay Devgn To Star In The Hindi Remake Of Telugu Film, 'Naandhi'

Ajay Devgn, Dil Raju join hands for Hindi remake of Telugu hit film 'Naandhi'

Actor Ajay Devgn set forth his latest project which is a remake of the Telugu crime courtroom drama Naandhi which will be bankrolled by Dill Raju. On his Instagram, Ajay shared, "Time to share an important story with all! #DilRajuProductions and @adffilms are all set to produce the Hindi remake of the Telugu hit, Naandhi!"


Naandhi released on 19 February and gave a highly positive review. The film is Vijay Kanakamedala's directorial debut and starred Allari Naresh and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in the lead. Priyadarshi, Harish Uthaman, Vinay Varma, and Praveen also appear in the main roles.

The film is about the life of a prisoner under trial, Surya Prakash, who has been falsely accused of murder.

Devgn will make his digital premiere in a cop avatar, with Rudra- The Edge of Darkness. The show is based on the British TV series Luther starring Idris Elba and will release on Disney+ Hotstar.

Speaking about his character, Ajay had said in a statement, "Playing a cop on screen is not new to me, but this time the character is more intense, complex and dark."

He will star in SS Rajamouli's film RRR, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiawadi, and Amit Sharma's Maidaan.
