Ahan Shetty Bagged In To Play The Lead In Mahesh Bhatt's Aashiqui 3!

Sunil Shetty's son Ahan Shetty has been around the Bollywood headlines despite being a newbie to the world of acting. To compile everything that this Starkid has done till now, Ahan has concluded his debut film Tadap with producer Sajid Nadiadwala. The film shoot and the post-production formalities are also done. The film crew is expecting the theatres to open before declaring the release date of this film.

As of now, Ahan has settled to play the lead role in Mahesh Bhatt’s Aashiqui 3. This third film of the Bhatts’ chart-busting Aashiqui franchise will go on the floors next year. A source close to the Shettys revealed, “After the full-on action in Tadap, Ahan wanted to prove himself in an emotional romantic theme. Aashiqui 3 will give him just the vehicle that he needs to prove his versatility.”

Lately, there have also been rumors that Ahan will co-star with Akshay Kumar, but gunning down the same, the source asserts, "There is absolutely no truth to this rumor. It is too early for Ahan to share screen space with a superstar like Akshay."
