Megastar Chiranjeevi's upcoming movie 'Acharya' is undoubtedly one of the much awaited the films in Tollywood at the moment. Directed by flopless director Koratala Siva, the movie was supposed to hit the theatres on May 13th. Touted to be an action drama, it seems like the makers have decided to postpone the release of the film. Konidela Production company took Twitter to announce the same. "Keeping in view of the pandemic situation, #Acharya movie will not be releasing on May 13. New Release date will be announced once the situation becomes normal. Wear mask, Stay home & stay safe! #AcharyaPostponed" tweeted the production banner.
Kajal Agarwal is playing the female lead in this movie whereas Pooja Hegde is going to play an extended cameo role opposite Ram Charan in the film. The recently released teaser of the film has received a thumping response from the audience. Ram Charan under Konidela Production Company in association with Niranjan Reddy under Matinee Entertainment Banner is bankrolling this project. The makers are yet to unveil the new release date of the film.
