Storyline

Najeeb Muhammad is a Malayali man who moves to Saudi Arabia with Hakim to find work and earn money. An acquaintance named Sreekumar has sorted out their visas, but when they land, nobody comes to meet them and they do not even know who their employer is. A local man leads them away, and the two are soon split up. Najeeb is taken deep into the desert and made to tend goats. The work is hard, and he has no one to turn to. Years pass before he finds Hakim again, along with Ibrahim Khadiri, a Somali herder who knows several ways out of the desert.
