A woman in distress finds solace in a man who accepts her as his sister and seeks justice for her. Akbar Basha (Sivaji Ganesan) is a blacksmith and a man who stands up against injustice. He rescues Kasturi (Sarita) and accepts her as his sister. Kasturi tells Akbar how Prakash (Sharat Babu) raped her as an act of revenge.
