Storyline

Avengers: Endgame picks up after the events of Avengers: Infinity War, which saw the Avengers divided and defeated. Thanos won the day and used the Infinity Stones to snap away half of all life in the universe. Only the original Avengers - Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow, and Hawkeye remain, along with some key allies like War Machine, Ant-Man, Rocket Raccoon, Nebula, and Captain Marvel. Avengers: Infinity War had left fans shell shocked by ending it on an wildly unpredictable note. The bad guy Thanos not only wins over the powerful and most loved superheroes The Avengers but also wipes out half the living beings on the earth including some superheroes with the snap of a finger. Avengers: Endgame starts few weeks after the chaos and the remaining superheroes are left dispirited and weak. They want to avenge the loss of their loved ones. But will revenge itself let them live in peace? Avengers: Endgame is not just any superhero film. It is the culmination of more than twenty movies in the Marvel cinematic universe. Directors Russo brothers had a Herculean task on hands as they need to deliver a film that lives up to the humongous hype and endless expectations of the fans of the franchise. The writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely made it an easy job by penning a spectacular and a satisfying finale to the most loved film of the last decade. The film is all about moments. Every superhero character gets to shine no matter how miniscule their role is. The beauty of Endgame is it never thrives to create that whistle worthy fan moments. Even the best heroic shots or scenes come as a part of the film. Some characters are introduced just without any buildup and some enters the scene with a bang. However, none of the entries go unnoticed. Almost ninety percent of the characters gets an applause from the audience at their introduction. Another interesting thing about the franchise is showing the most powerful characters in a comical way. Hulk's transformation is just hilarious and he steals the show in his entry scenes. Also the self-proclaimed strongest avenger Thor gets another shocking transformation and he is fun to watch. There is that Big Lebowski vibe to his character that is addressed by the Ironman character in a scene. Avengers has lots of drama but the conversations are lively and funnier all the time. The references to other movies are hilarious. Audience and fans expect to see a grand spectacle of action episodes from a movie of this scale. The directors are aware of it, but they don't just provide them all the time. They make us wait for it with proper buildup to the final act. Marvel Cinematic Universe has changed the outlook of superhero films by making drama a vital part of the storytelling. Avengers: Endgame has some powerful emotional moments that any fan would want to undo. The most defining moments are the ones where Ironman and Thor meets their father and mother respectively. It is just hard to analyze Avengers: Endgame without giving away the spoilers. But we are making our best efforts to not to give away anything that fans wouldn't want to know without watching the movie. Not many movies were successful in giving a perfect ending to a popular franchise. It is a lot of exercise for the director as well as the writers to connect all the dots and make sure to have a significant role for all the important characters. The ending will leave a lump in the throat for fans for sure even though it isn't as heartbreaking as the ending of Infinity War. This film is sure to leave everyone satisfied no matter how hyped up they are. Avengers: Endgame will not only break the tons of box office records but also will win millions of hearts. It is a movie that needs to be watched on the larger screen possible and trust me you will love it 3000. Verdict: Marvel-ous!

Avengers: End Game, the final outing from the highly celebrated Avengers franchise hit the theaters across the globe today. The action entertainer has a lot riding on it and the earth-shattering advance bookings are a testimony of the same. Scroll down to check whether the film manages to reach the sky-high expectations laid upon it. Story: Avengers come to know that they can undo the humongous damage caused by Thanos if they can use quantum physics to go back in time and collect all the infinity stones. However, this path is treaded with unprecedented challenges, which can eventually wipe out the entire human race, if not executed properly. Just when everything seems to be going as planned, Thanos re-enters the scene and the Avengers will now have to get the better of him to achieve what they want. Will they be successful in the process? What are the challenges they have to overcome? The answers to these questions form the plot of the film. Plus points: Avengers: End Game banks mainly on the emotional journey of the lead characters and that is portrayed exceedingly well. The audience will connect with the characters on a personal level and that is surely the biggest asset of the film. The lead cast, including the likes of Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Brie Larson, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, and Mark Ruffalo come up with great performances. The last hour of the flick is the real deal as the audiences are put through an emotional rollercoaster. A particular sequence where all the superheroes make their way back to Earth is goosebump-inducing. Minus Points: For some odd reason, the directors take a lot of time to get things going in the initial stages. The first 20 minutes are flat and there is nothing much going on. The time travel heist in the first half is a tad confusing. However, things get slightly better in the second half. Technical Aspects: The directors, Anthony Russo, and Joe Russo set their focus on getting the emotional connect right and they succeeded in this department. However, they should have concentrated more on the screenplay in the first half. The background score is just brilliant and elevates most scenes to a whole new level. The camera works are good and so were the graphics and CGI works. Coming to the Telugu version, the dubbing is neat. A number of Telugu movies’ references have been used to keep the native audience hooked. Verdict: On the whole, Avengers: End Game is a fitting finale to the remarkable franchise. It gets off to a slow start but gains momentum towards the end of the first half and the last hour is the real standout and gives goosebumps for the audience. The film will be loved by the followers of the franchise and in that process break several records at the box office. Must Watch.

STORY: ‘Avengers: Endgame’ continues from its previous instalment ‘Avengers: Infinity War’, where a chain of catastrophic events destroyed half the universe. The remaining Avengers now come together for one final time to reverse the actions of the evil Thanos and restore the order of the universe. But will they succeed? REVIEW: Overwhelming. It best describes the final chapter that culminates Marvel Cinematic Universe’s 21 iconic films into one. And that also describes the experience of watching your favourite superheroes come together for a singular goal, for one last time. Directors Anthony and Joe Russo ensure that the humongous build-up and the avalanche of expectations do not get the better of them. They deliver a largely wholesome product that is full of moments laced with action, emotion, comedy and drama. Writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely take you along, even if you haven’t been following the franchise. They do an incredible job with the screenplay to balance emotions with visual spectacle. So if you’re not a fan yet, chances are, you might become one after watching this instalment. While the screen time for each character is not equal, their significance in the story is. And there are enough surprises in store, as far as their fates are concerned. ‘Endgame’ delivers quite well on the emotional quotient, bringing out superpowers and vulnerabilities of its cinematic demigods through their measured performances. From an upright Captain America (Chris Evans) to a stoic Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and from a straight-faced Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) delivering the punches to the reassuring presence of Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), ‘Endgame’ has it all and a lot more. Thanks to the conviction in performances, you also might just find yourself rooting for the bad guy, Thanos (Josh Brolin) at some point. However, it’s the comic collective of Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and Ant Man (Paul Rudd) that ensures there are enough lighter moments in this otherwise heartfelt finale. The action becomes progressively intense, but never overbearing. In fact, it remains relevant and true to the narrative, such that it weaves in enough opportunities for major plot twists that even the diehard fans may not see coming. The extensive CGI work adds to the visual appeal, even in 2D. For the non-fans, the film’s explanatory tone might come across as a speed breaker at times, but for the fans, the same invokes hope and excitement, leading to constant gasps and howls. Overall, 'Avengers: Endgame' is a befitting tribute to the Cinematic Universe that has spawned larger-than-life superheroes and super fans. At three hours plus, ‘Endgame’ delivers on a lot of its hallmark promises, leaving its fans with a range of emotions and fond memories.
