Chaudhary Sarang is a powerful landlord who never lowers his head before anyone. Years ago, his sister Chand falls for a farmer's son named Shiva, and Sarang's rage destroys Shiva's family. Only Ganga, Shiva's sister-in-law, survives. Expecting a child, she swears an oath that her son will one day make Sarang bow.
Sarang accepts the challenge and vows to stop it. Ganga's son is named Shiva, and Sarang's daughter is named Chand, raised to be as hard as any man. When the two meet, they clash at first, and then feelings begin to grow between them, while the old vow looms over everything.
