Rao Bahadur (2026)

Storyline

Rao Bahadur is a Telugu fantasy thriller about Bhuvanam Ramappa Rao Bahadur, an ageing aristocrat who lives in his family manor, Bhuvanalayam. Doctors say he is gravely ill, yet Ramappa lives on, held up by one fear: that his younger son Kusuma, who has died, was not his child. His wife Renuka shuts herself in a dark room, and their elder son Lavana carries the strain of a sick father and a distant mother. Only Achari, his friend and doctor, knows what troubles him. Haunted by visions of his ancestors, Ramappa sets out to prove his suspicion, and the line between real and imagined grows thin.
