Under British rule, a remote region of India is held by foreign officers, but some of its people refuse to accept it. Palay Khan leads a band of fighters who resist the soldiers and protect the locals whenever the army moves in. The British want him and his men caught, yet every attempt fails.
Then an officer named Gulbaaz Khan takes Amar Singh, one of Palay's trusted men, and says he will hold him until Palay gives himself up. Palay answers by seizing Helen, the daughter of General Bonz. Feelings grow between Palay and Helen, and that bond may soften the bitterness between the two sides.
