Oh Baby (2019)

Storyline

Savitri aka Baby (Lakshmi) is a 70-year-old lady who runs a college canteen along with her friend, Kanakaraj aka Chanti (Dr. Rajendra Prasad). Her son, Shekhar (Rao Ramesh) works as a lecturer of Gerontology in the same college. At home, she shares a close bond with her grandson, Rocky (Teja). When she was young, she aspired to become a singer but failed to do it because of her motherly responsibilities. She wants her grandson to become a good singer and achieve his goals. She is strict and rude to her daughter-in-law, Madhavi (Pragathi) and tries to correct everything that she does. This doesn't go well with Madhavi. One day, Madhavi gets a heart stroke and the doctors suggest Shekhar to keep Baby away from her to avoid stressful conditions. Even Madhavi and her daughter ask Shekhar to send Baby away from the house. Dejected by her fate, she decides to attend her grandson's first performance at an exhibition and move away from the family forever. There she meets an unusual man (Jagapathi Babu), who gives her a Ganesh idol. She magically transforms into her younger self, 24-year old Savitri (Samantha Akkineni). She discovers that the unusual man was God and he gave her a second chance to rewrite her life. She befriends her grandson and joins his team to fulfill her dream to be a singer. She meets Vikram (Naga Shourya), who offers a music contract to their team. He slowly falls for her and she starts to warm up to him too. But will Baby remain to be young forever? The story is about a mother's struggle and how she sacrifices her life to keep her kids happy.
