Preetham first sees Nandini on a windy day at a mall in Bengaluru, and she helps him out of an awkward fall. She loses a watch she has just bought. Later he travels with his mother to Madikeri in Coorg, where he stays in the home of Subbaiah and learns that Subbaiah is Nandini's father. Her wedding is only a week away.
