Akash is a radio jockey in Bangalore. His first love, Priya, has been married off to a police officer, so he agrees to wed Anjali, the bride his parents pick for him in Mysore. On their wedding night, Anjali tells him she wants a divorce, because her heart belongs to another man, Hemanth, whom she is not allowed to meet.
Akash calmly agrees, but asks for two things: the divorce must wait until they move to Bangalore, and his parents must not know. Anjali accepts. Living under one roof as a couple in name only, the two clash often, while each is still tied to the past.
