Tapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin are an adorable pair living a low-life picking the little jobs they can get. The pair have their share of adversaries and tough times but somehow manage to drag on with their lives in a happy-go way. Tahir works with a local gangster abetting petty crimes for him. One day Tahir gets the responsibility to illegally transport a big sum of rupees and hand it over to an acquittance. He takes the job as a casual encounter and embarks on his way to deliver the money, unaware of the gravity of the situation how serious it can turn out if mishandled.
Taapsee gets a phone call from her boyfriend, which changes their life altogether. She gets to know that her boyfriend has misplaced a whopping sum of money in a metro train, and if he doesn't return the money in time he would be killed. Given very short notice to reclaim the sums and return, Tapsee goes on a run for the money. What plausible ends can the situation have forms, the rest of the story?
