Chaitanya Krishna aka Bobby (Vijay Devarakonda) is a Student Union leader at Kakinada. He likes to fight for the right and raise his voice at the wrong just like his grandfather Comrade Suriyam (Charuhasan). He accidentally meets Aparna Devi aka Lilly (Rashmika Mandanna) who happens to be his neighbor’s relative. He was hopelessly attracted to her sister, Jaya (Shruti Ramachandran), his neighbor’s daughter, but she rejected his moves saying he is young and needs to focus on his education. Lilly visits Kakinada to attend Jaya’s wedding and Bobby begins to develop feelings for Lilly. On the day of the wedding, he confesses his love for her but she rejects saying they both have different paths and it cannot work out. She states that her cricketing career is of utmost importance to her. But eventually, when Bobby travels to Hyderabad to meet her, she admits that she too likes him. He supports her dreams and loves her unconditionally. But after a point, Lilly starts to dislike Bobby’s short-temper and his nature of getting into fights. When she witnesses an opposition group hitting Bobby ruthlessly, she states that she is fed up with his behavior and fears to lose him. Words get exchanged and he angrily asks Lilly to get lost. He later realizes his mistake and feels sorry about it. But knowing that Lilly has moved on, he joins a group of people working on sound healing. He gets a grip on his temper and violent nature. After three years, he learns from Jaya that Lilly lost the chance of being selected in the Indian cricket team because of an unfortunate accident. This caused her to lose her mind. He meets Lilly, helps her to recover but realizes she doesn’t want to go back to cricket. Then the story revolves around Bobby’s attempts to make Lilly say the truth about her hesitation to take up cricket again, how he fights the corrupt and unjust selectors and acts as a Comrade for the girl he loves.
