23 (Iravai Moodu) (2025)

Storyline

23 (Iravai Moodu) is a Telugu crime drama made of three separate stories. Each one is based on a real event: the Tsunduru massacre of 1991, the burning of a bus at Chilakaluripeta in 1993 and a car bomb blast in Hyderabad in 1997. One thread is set in a village in Guntur district and follows Suseela and the young man she loves. Both come from a marginalised community. Suseela is expecting a child, and the couple needs money to start their married life. A friend pulls the young man into a plan to rob a bus and make it look like the work of Naxalites. The plan puts them in danger and leads to events that cannot be undone.
