    Review

Nagarjuna is definitely the major selling point for this film. The movie has a boring first half which fails to hook the audience to the story. Nothing much happens in the story especially in the first half. But the director picked up the pace in the second half and the action sequences also succeeded in giving thrills to the audience. Despite having a simple story, the proceedings are straightforward and on point in the second half but some of the scenes felt unrealistic, and also the emotions felt forced. The repeated scenes will irk the audience and there are no major twists and turns which also is the biggest setback for this movie.

We can say 'Wild Dog' is a well-made movie in terms of Technical aspects. The visuals by Shaniel Deo is top-notch. Each and every frame is realistic and impressive. Music by SS Thaman also worked big time for the film. His amazing BGM become one of the major plus points. Editing could have been better. Production values are good enough. Director Solomon did an average job in executing the story. Though there is a scope for keeping the audience at the edge of their seats with his narration, the director failed to do so.

Nagarjuna's outstanding performance and his Amazing fitness skills became the biggest place plus points for this film. Nagarjuna is apt for this role. Ali Reza went under the skin of the character and delivered a remarkable performance. Though Dia Mirza doesn't have much screen time, she shined in her role. Saiyami Kher is decent in her role. Atul Kulkarni's character doesn't have much to offer but he did a convincing job. The rest of the actors also made their presence felt.

    Verdict

'Wild Dog' is a technically well-made action drama with an interesting premise but utterly fails to keep the audience hooked throughout the film.
