Story

Narappa leads an ordinary life in Ananthapur with his charismatic wife, two brave sons and an adorable daughter. They did have a peaceful life but it wasn’t the one with any conflicts. For a small period of time, the conflicts were entirely harmless and only verbal, but it later turns out violent and political gradually. The disputes that have been mentioned here is between the village head Panduswamy and Narappa’s elder son Munikanna. People took sides and this was entirely an axis and allies situation. 

With time things only grew worse, only for Narappa to face the biggest and the most sorrowful loss of his life. Although Narappa tries to be calm and collected despite his losses, his younger son Sinnappa grows into a vengeful brother who wants the village head to pay for his heinous crime. How will Narappa take revenge from the monstrous Panduswamy, claim back his lands and protect his vulnerable family forms the crux of the story. 

 Review 

To get right into the plot line analysis, the story of this film is an impressive combination of sorrow, anger, small yet valuable happy moments, love, and anguish. The writers and the director did a splendid job making this film in such a way that the viewers are hooked till the end. 

The entire cast of this film has performed such a flawless job that this film could be the best milestone of their careers. The candid acting along with the natural flow of emotions have won our hearts. 

The cinematography by Shyam Naidu is another great highlight of this film. Most of the scenes felt like they were shot in natural lighting and every panel of this movie felt like it was shot with utmost precision and perfection. 

The drama that this film consists of is entirely different from what we see in other drama films. The storyline is not monotonous for even a minute, it grips you into its aura and gives you an unforgettable blood-rush throughout the climax scenes. 

The one negative aspect in this film can only be noticed by the ones who watched Dhanush’s Asuran. Narappa is not as intense as Asuran considering Venkatesh and Dhanush’s acting levels are top-tier but on completely different levels. 

Overall, this was an amazing film that takes you on a journey of intense thrill. 

 Verdict

Narappa is definitely worth watching given its amazing storyline, acting and cinematography.
