From the Nandi award screenplay writer and Kshanam fame director Ravikanth Perepu and produced by Rana Daggubati, a romantic comedy entertainer ‘Krishna & His Leela’ is set to hit the OTT platform Netflix on June 25th 2020.

    Story

The story kicks off with Krishna (Siddhu Jonnalagadda) breaking up with his girlfriend Satya (Shraddha Srinath) who is his senior due to his lack of seriousness with life. Not being able to handle the split well, Krishna decides to not get into another relationship with no other girl but as the cupid had other plans, he meets his junior Radha (Shalini Vaddikanti) and eventually falls for her. The story takes a twist when Krishna has to move to Bangalore for work and shares a room with his sister’s friend Ruksaar (Seerat Kapoor) and also coincidentally meets Satya. Being tangled between his past and current lovers, we’re to see how Krishna handled his women in this romantic entertainer.

    Analysis

The movie is well written, and all the actors played justified their role. Special points for Siddhu who portrayed the confused lover with ease and impressed the audience with his charming gestures and dialogues. The script written so well captures enticing conversations between the lead actor and his women. The climax was written well with a short and sweet yet honest approach.Shalini bags the hearts with her simple yet elegant acting, showing her subtle emotions or mood swings effectively. Shraddha Srinath as well justified her role and her chemistry with Siddhu was pretty good. Viva fame Harsha gets the audience rolf with his brilliant timing. The music was handled well, songs going with the flow of the movie and never to bore.

    Bottomline

Overall the romantic comedy entertainer is a writer’s novel showcasing the confused mindset of youth and the mistakes they encounter in managing and it also depicts shortly about the importance & guidance of a father. Rana probably took great care in the selection of the script and it would definitely go into the WATCH IT bucket.
