Investigative thrillers are the new trend currently with a greater number of Tamil & Malayalam thrillers paving their way to the Telugu audience. Hit is a story revolving around serial kidnapping and how a Homicide Intervention Team officer tries to solve the mystery behind. The film is set to hit the big screen on 28th February 2020.

    Story

Starting with the kidnap of a young girl, Vikram(Vishwak sen as Vikram) who acts as an aggressive police officer reaches dead ends in the multiple leads he finds during the investigation. Things get crazier when his girlfriend (Ruhani Sharma) gets kidnapped in the similar manner. We’re set to see how Vikram was able to find shocking truths revealing the mystery of the kidnaps.

    Analysis

Starting with a strong introduction to Vikram’s aggressive character and his careful attention to detail, he gets assigned the case of a missing young girl. The investigation is captured well with great details and realistic approach. Vishwak Sen completely justified his role being the soul of the film with his intense & fierce gestures showing his versatility. The storyline substantiated with gripping cinematography and BGM engages the audience right from the start. But later in the 2nd half it gets a little itchy for the audience for dragging with some unnecessary scenes. The climax could have been handled well with a well deserving ending.

    Bottomline

Overall Hit is a good entertainer with a gripping screenplay. The professor turned director from Australia thought of a well-designed plot and executed with brilliance with some drag in between. Worth a watch on the big screen. The movie is currently streaming on Amazon Prime for people who haven’t watched it yet.
