A pickpocket impersonates a dreaded gangster and gets embroiled in a world of crime and danger. Billa (Ajith), a gangster, dies while being chased by the police. However, DSP Jayaprakash (Prabhu) finds Velu, a pick-pocket who resembles Billa, and trains him to impersonate the gangster. Velu enters Billa's gang as a mole for the DSP.
