'The Big Bull' is a crime drama film starring Abhishek Bacchan and Ileana D'Cruz in the lead roles. Directed by Kookie Gulati, the movie is based on the professional life of a stockbroker Harshad Mehta.  

Set during the 17th century, when the Mughals planned to capture the Kondhana fortress as the capital of South India and extend their empire. The Maratha Emperor Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj orders his loyal general Tanaji Malusare to capture Kondhana and protect Southern India from Mughal invasion. The Mughal emperor sent his trusted commander Uday Bhan to defend the fortress, The battle for the control of the fortress which decided the fate of Southern India is popularly known as the 'Battle of Sinhagad'.
