Vasanth Ravi
Vasanth Ravi is an Indian actor who appears in Tamil films. He is also credited as Ravi Vasanth and Vasantha Kumar R. Movie fans know him best for Taramani, ASVINS and Rocky, and his biggest honour is a win at the South Indian International Movie Awards in the Tamil section in 2017. His film career began with Taramani in 2017, the movie that first introduced him to audiences and the one his name is still most closely tied to. Four years later, he took a role in Rocky (2021). In 2023, he was part of two films: ASVINS and Jailer. He followed these with Pon Ondru Kanden in 2024 and Indra in 2025. In 2026, he returned to the world of Jailer with a part in Jailer 2. Vasanth Ravi is known for building his career through a small but steady list of Tamil titles rather than a long run of releases. Taramani remains the work that defines him for most viewers, and the recognition he received at the South Indian International Movie Awards in 2017 marked an early high point. Since then, films such as Rocky, ASVINS and Indra have kept him in front of Tamil audiences across the years.
