Sri Simha Koduri

Sri Simha Koduri is an actor in Telugu cinema, known to fans simply as Simha. He is best known for Mathu Vadalara (2019), Bhaag Saale (2023) and Mathu Vadalara 2 (2024), and his biggest honour is the SIIMA Award for Best Male Debut – Telugu, which he received for his first leading role. Simha's screen journey began when he was a boy, with a part in Yamadonga (2007). He went on to appear in Eega (2012) and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017), and he also spent time behind the camera, working as an assistant director on Rangasthalam (2018). His big step forward came with Mathu Vadalara (2019), where he played the lead for the first time and won wide notice along with his debut award. He followed it with Thellavarithe Guruvaram (2021) and Dongalunnaru Jaagratha (2022). In 2023 he had three releases: Bhaag Saale, Ustaad and Prema Katha. He then returned to the world of his breakthrough with Mathu Vadalara 2 (2024). Simha is known for the unusual route he took to leading roles. Before carrying films on his own, he gathered experience as a young performer, as a supporting face in large productions and as part of the crew on set. That mix of work in front of and behind the camera shapes his place in Telugu film, and his SIIMA win stands as the major award of his career.
