He is best known for his Sankranthi rap song Patang and for lending his voice to films such as Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo (2020) and Vakeel Saab (2021). Patang, released on YouTube, drew more than 17 million views and brought him wide attention. In 2018, he took part in Bigg Boss 2, lasting until the 15th week and ending in sixth place. That same year he wrote lyrics for Jamba Lakidi Pamba (2018), and he later played a supporting role in 90ML (2019). Film work grew steadily after that, with songs in Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo (2020), A1 Express (2021) and Vakeel Saab (2021). In 2023 he both wrote and sang for Waltair Veerayya and sang in Amigos, Mentoo and King of Kotha. He wrote and performed for Om Bheem Bush (2024) and penned lyrics for War 2 (2025). Roll Rida often writes the words he performs, moving easily between lyricist and playback singer on the same film. Outside cinema, fans know him for tracks like Kirana rap, Breaking News Kattif, Shankar Ka Beta, Ivvalane Dilkush, Ignite and Arupu. He has also made special appearances in Oollalla Oollalla (2020) and Anubhavinchu Raja (2022).
