Remo D Souza
Remo D Souza is a Hindi film choreographer, director and actor, and fans know him simply as Remo. He is widely seen as the most successful and respected dance director in Hindi cinema, and many younger choreographers look up to him. Audiences link his name with the songs of Bajirao Mastani (2015), Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani (2023) and Fighter (2024). In a career of over 25 years, Remo has shaped the dances of more than a hundred films. In 2018 he directed Race 3, produced Nawabzaade and acted in Zero. He then choreographed Kalank and Student Of The Year 2 in 2019, wrote the story of Street Dancer 3D in 2020, and set the steps for Bhoot Police (2021) and Middle Class Love (2022). After Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani and an acting part in Madgaon Express in 2023, he created the moves for Fighter and Bad Newz in 2024. In 2025 he wrote, directed and acted in Be Happy, and choreographed Housefull 5. His 2026 work includes directing Dongri: Gangster's Paradise and acting in Raja Shivaji. Beyond films, Remo is a familiar face on television, having judged the dance contest Dance Plus for seven seasons in a row. He moves easily between dance, direction, writing and acting.
