Vikram works in the HIT department at CID. He works on a case of a missing girl, Preeti. How he finds out what's responsible for the kidnap and murder is the story. 

Shekar (Ramesh) is taking acting lessons secretly because he is afraid that it will offend his strict father. Rudra (Vijayashanti), his classmate falls in love with him. When Shekar's father learns about his passion for acting, he stops him from attending the school. Shekar chances upon Subbaiah, who is his lookalike and leaves him at his place while he goes out with Rudra. But will things go as planned?
