Rahul Ramakrishna is a well-known actor, writer, and journalist. He became popular with the 2017 released blockbuster movie, 'Arjun Reddy'.  Rahul Ramakrishna was born on 15th January 1991 in Hyderabad, Telangana. His father used to be a yoga Inspector and his mother is an assistant editor for a Business Magazine. He studies Mechanical Engineering in VJIT, Hyderabad but dropped out of the college after 2nd year.  Rahul started his career as a journalist in magazines like Evening Dailies, Post Noon and Metro India. He also worked as a translator for journalists visiting Hyderabad on assignments. He is a multi-talented person who also worked as a songwriter, screenwriter, and even as a presenter for a television cook show.  Rahul got the interest in acting after a workshop with the activist N Madhusudhan and Dr. Sagari Ramdas and attempted into acting for the first time with a short film 'Sainma' directed by Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam. But Rahul shot to fame with 'Arjun Reddy' movie. Rahul Ramakrishna also received appreciation for his roles in movies like 'Bharath Ane Nenu', 'Sammohanam', 'Geeta Govindam', 'Hushaaru', 'Brochevarevarura', 'Jathi Ratnalu' etc. Rahul Ramakrishna who also worked as a lyricist for 'Pelli Choopulu' movie crooned songs in 'Hushaaru' and 'Guvva Gorinka' movies. Rahul Ramakrishna won the best comedian award in SIIMA for 'Arjun Reddy' movie and also the best comedian award in Zee Cine Awards Telugu for 'Brochevarevarura' movie. He also got nominated as the best supporting actor in Filmfare awards for 'Geetha Govindam' movie.
